First Timers - For those with little to no riding experience. Campers learn basic horsemanship, tack care, grooming, saddling, and cleaning the barn. Ride time approximately 3 hours/day. Campers may work toward a skill or CHA certification.
Returners - For campers with some riding experience at a camp or a similar program. Campers learn basic horsemanship, tack care, grooming, saddling, and cleaning the barn. Begin cantering, work on the trot. Ride-time: approximately 3-4 hours/day.
Trail Scout - For campers interested in beginning trail camp. No riding experience required. There is at least one arena lesson, with all other riding on trails. All campers ride English-style Endurance saddles. Ride time approximately 3-4 hours/day.
Trail Blazers - For experienced riders who can ride up to 5 hrs/day in any weather. All campers ride English-style Endurance saddles. The camp features an overnight stay, so you’ll need to bring an outdoor sleeping bag and daypack. Rides take place in Pike National Forest.
Jumping Camp (Intro) - For campers who can walk, trot, canter, and have an interest in jumping. Riders must be experienced. All campers ride English.
Jumping Camp (Advanced) - For campers who want to improve jumping skills (arena and cross-country). All campers ride English. A 3-phase horse show features dressage, cross-country, and stadium jumping. Because of the increased experience criteria for our English Jumping Camp, no registrations will be accepted without approval from the Horse Camp Director.
