Melissa and her hyper self entered the barn. Melissa smiled and hopped around. She couldn't wait.

{pretty much. I don't want to keep repeting myself} "I'm Melissa." Melissa replied, still moving around.

Lilly led Melissa out into the barn and showed her Mo. "He's a gelding, super awesome. Tack him up and we'll get started. Everything is in the locker with his name on it."

"ok" Melissa said, already haltering up the gelding and leading him out to the wash stall. She groomed him with curry comb, stiff and soft brush, and picked his hooves. Then sheh layed the saddle on the horse then tightened the girth. Not too tight yet, she would tighten it more in the arena. The she bridled the horse and led him out to the arena.

Lilly smiled as she began setting up some small jumps, only piles of poles for now. "Go ahead and get mounted and walk on the rail.

Melissa brought Mo to the center of the arena and mounted up, going towards the rail and warming up Mo at the walk.

"Good," said Lilly, "Heels down, two-point."

Melissa used mostly her thighs and calves to hold herself up in the two-point position. Heels were down and toes were up, as well as her eyes.

"Good, it looks like you've done a lot of no-stirrup work, but I do want your weight more in your heels, not just sticking your toes up. That looks nice though. Arch your back."

Melissa arched her back a bit more and rested her calves and things a bit with her heels.
